ONE BIG PLUG:
Feel in love, annoyed, encouraged, sad, consoled, heartbroken, or sympathetic with entries contributed by different women that are… “mere attempts at retelling true-to-life stories about faith, love, and non-love with a touch of anonymity. The stories are not all mine, and may not be about me. I say you’d even be surprised, ‘coz one of them could be YOUR story. Or one of the characters could be YOU. Now that’s the fun part.œ” (direct-quoted from silverlining)This site is perfect for this day. Also, have fun guessing who the specific contributors are. Hehe.

Happy Valentine’s Day to all the lovers in love, and lovers in waiting. ;)

Graveyard Survivor

It’s my last day at this one week graveyard shift. I survived it again, but barely alive. I know that I don’t really have that much tasks as compared to when I’m working on a day shift, but for some strange reason, I feel more stressed this way. Not just physically. And I can’t seem to point my finger at the reason. The working hour (9pm-6am) is not the problem. I’ve worked at this schedule before at my former job. Hmm, but I guess it’s different there. I was with everyone on the floor then. I take my break with my team and gab with them every few minutes, unlike here that I spend almost my whole 9 hours in front of the PC. And not to mention the creep I’m getting from staying in this very dark, quiet and cold office hall. Hehe. I’m so tired. And I can tell that sleep is not the only remedy. Waah. What’s wrong with me??

So, anyway, I’m your ultimate graveyard survivor! Congratulations to me! Goodluck, rom, on your turn next week. Hehe. And have a good weekend, everyone. Til another week of our a$$-workin’ and blog-rantin’. Haha! We work, then we rant. This routine doesn’t really make sense, does it? :)

Currently Feeling: Homesick

Filed under Jokes Aside, Rants @ 3:08am

Three days ago, Anna Grace was here in Manila. She was called by HSBC to take an employment exam at their Ortigas branch and she asked me if I could keep her company. Duh. Like she really had to ask. :)

I was sooo glad to see one of my best friends from home. We spent our free time talking and eating together, then I took her to where she’s supposed to take her exam and waited. Afterwards, I came to see her again and took her to Galleria. It was so cool having her around at places that I don’t normally see her or any of my close friends from back home. Unfortunately, not long after that, her dad was calling from outside the mall. They had to go home the following day, so she couldn’t stay long. I joined her outside and said my goodbyes.

Seeing her go really made me sad. Somehow, I wished I could join her get on that Crosswind. So that right now, I could also be back home myself.
