Because I have yet so many things to learn about the ins and outs of the WWW, I’m grateful for people who generously share their knowledge on how I can maximize my online surfing pleasures. Thanks to Melissa (again), I have my own cable TV connection right on my lappytoppy! It’s a free software downloaded at tvunetworks.com. There’s not much to see and it loads like a turtle but I really don’t mind as long as I can now enjoy a little HBO, NBC, Hollywood movie, Disney, etc. And because it runs on western time, there’s almost nothing good to watch at night, unless watching Mickey Mouse and Pluto on the Disney channel move exaggeratedly and ask the viewers to “spot the difference” between two pictures is actually appealing to me — and hey, what do you know? It is appealing to me! Brings out the child in me or whatever. Haha.
For now, this cable laptop slash TV shall suffice whilst I still can’t afford to get an actual TV (with cable) of my own to keep inside my room. Lol.

Continuation of Office Drama
With just a snap again, everything at the office is back to normal. I don’t know how exactly my bosses talked the company owner over and convinced him but I think it involved a lot of pleading and threatening. LOL! So now, we’re back to working on a morning shift and there will no longer be sanctions for our tardies and absences. However, although I can now say that I’m not as troubled as I was 2 days ago about my job, the thought of getting a new job has not escaped me yet. I guess the idea of grabbing a career opportunity that is better than what I have now is inevitable for individuals, such as myself, to hope for. I suddenly realized, after all the commotion that took place, that I actually still have this constant search for growth and dread for stagnation. Oh well, at least I’m not in a do-or-die position anymore. :P
Basketball Victory
Yesterday I was with Deej and his college classmates at Araneta Coliseum. We went to see the NCAA game between the San Beda Lions and Letran Knights. But we were bummed upon discovering that Beda actually has been down for 6-12 points from 1st quarter to 3rd quarter, and has not overscored Letran since. But based on how I used to be addicted to PBA, I had a hunch that a 10-point lead is not that hard to beat. They just have to switch the momentum and get on with it. True enough, towards the end of the last quarter, Beda was able to get back in the game. :)

Work-related @ 8:56pm
With just a snap, everything at the office now has gone completely haywire. I wouldn’t go into details (since that could get me into serious trouble), but let’s just say daily work for us has become more complicated, and worse, we were told that we were gonna be working on a graveyard shift forever! Actually, forever is just a term my colleagues and I use, which is actually ambiguous to “as long as we’re working for the company.” My colleagues and I are perplexed at the whole turn of events. However, bottomline is, we can’t do anything about it. So, rather than trying to fight back, we have resorted to becoming peace-loving people (lol!). We’ll just go with the flow and see what happens. I’m not saying I’m happy with the sudden overhaul of the company policy (coz I’m not), but I’d rather not say anything anymore. I’m actually waiting to see what else they‘ve got to implement that will just finally push us over the edge while we’re currently standing on the verge of quitting! lol.
I kinda agree with what Romzkee-Pomski wrote on her blog about the changes in our job:
…But on a positive note, Im kinda sensing something along with these terrible circumstances…. i have a good reason to resign.
