I first read about ReviewMe on Melissa’s blog, then was even more intrigued when I read about it on two more blogs. I thought, since these bloggers seem to have faith in it and find it reasonable, then it must be worth trying out. I signed up for an account yesterday and after reading their 5-point FAQ, I have to agree that ReviewMe does seem simple enough even for someone like me to handle. LOL. And they do have a cute-looking, easy-to-navigate dashboard. :)

I’ve tried a couple of things to earn through my blog in the past — even recently with which I was a little uncomfortable with (as some of you know :yuck:) — and I can tell that ReviewMe is quite different from the rest… in a good way. Three things come to mind as to why I think it’s good:

One – I can disclose that a certain blog entry is a paid post. That way, the very few people who regularly check on my blog would not go “Huh? What was that about?” anymore when they read about stuff I wouldn’t normally write about. So yes, people, this is a sponsored review and I haven’t gone totally schizo yet! Hehe! :dead:

Two – ReviewMe does not require a “positive” review about their potential sponsors. In this case: their service. There’s no pressure whatsoever. So now I can write some negative things about them and they would still be paying me. Neat, huh? But I won’t, since I actually find their service great. At least for now. LOL. :cute:

Three – They have their own way of star-ranking a website from 1 to 5 to determine its price. I think taintedsong was priced fairly. It’s not much, but for this very simple and breezy post, it’s definitely worth it. So if I get this right, a check will be on its way shortly. :right:

But what intrigues me most is how the people behind ReviewMe have come up with this linkbaiting idea. Giving away a total of $25,000 to its members with written reviews (and backlinks!) on their websites is sheer genius. I can just imagine the sudden boost in their number of incoming links within a short period of time, considering too its current PR of 1. This brilliant tactic would no-doubt attract more bloggers and advertisers alike. Kudos to its owners! :upside:

Go, give it a try. :)
