I haven’t had the desire to blog for a few days due to a slight malfunction with my blog. I can’t pinpoint what it is exactly or why comments and entries are vanishing right before my eyes which might be my SQL or my hosting’s fault (or mine, I really have no idea!). And because it severely annoyed me, I decided to just neglect it. Haha. Hopefully, everything’s working fine now. :)

I’ve submitted my first-ever customized Wordpress theme 4 days ago and I’m thrilled to see that there’s been over a hundred downloads as of today. Thanks to the wonders of Technorati, I’m able to track down the people who are using my theme. Although, I’m pretty sure not everyone who downloaded are actually using it. Maybe they just like to download some themes and stock them up on their wp-content/themes folder like I do sometimes. Hehe! One thing I love about Wordpress is the fact that everything’s free and up for grabs — the software, the themes, the plugins, and other stuff. Long live Open-Source! :cute:

I just finished reading this book entitled “gods in Alabama” by Joshilyn Jackson. I’ve never heard of this author before and I usually buy novels that friends recommend only, but when I found this book and saw how cute the cover was (heehee), plus the fact that it was on 30% discount at the Powerbooks warehouse, I just had to buy it. And now I think it’s one of the best novels I’ve read so far. The plot has some interesting twists that made me keep turning the pages. I wouldn’t be surprised if they make a movie based on this novel someday. I’m sure people are gonna love it. Hats off to Joshilyn Jackson’s debut novel. :D

It’s graveyard week for me and Sarah. Usually, the night shift at the office is a lot less busy than working on a regular shift. But ever since they rearranged the seating and placed the Account Managers just behind us, it’s work or be bugged all night. LOL. It’s fine, really. It feels good to be able to attend to their urgent/non-urgent needs too. It’s just that, I can’t take a quick shuteye without thinking about what they probably think about me slacking off just like that. Haha. Oh well, it’s time for me to grow up anyway. :P

It’s 9:00 in the morning and I’m still awake. The coffee I just downed an hour ago has very minimal effect on me. I need to stay up until later and I need to finish some freelance stuff if I want to meet the deadline. Sigh. Goodluck to my now-drooping eyelids. :bored:
