The Isulong SEOph party was held at Pier One, Ortigas last night. It was the final night of the contest where the winners were announced and prizes were given away. As an inactive member of the SEO Philippines organization, I consider myself a gate-crasher rather than a guest at the party earlier this evening, and a sneaky one at that who got herself a free glass of iced tea. LOL. After seeing who the 1st prize winner is and after checking out a couple of renowned Filipino bloggers at the party, we snuck out and left. Mission accomplished. Was really just curious, that’s all. :P

It’s great to see my former boss, aka Mr. SEO Philippines (haha), more famous now than he was before. And it’s even more exciting to read blog entries expressing the bloggers’ fascination of him. Bossing, if you get to read this from your new incoming links, congrats sa success ng pa-contest mo! Huwaw! Sikat na sikat ka na! Hehe!

Anyway, my real reason for writing this blog entry is, I want to join Marc Macalua’s new Isulong SEOph contest. Er, actually it’s not a new one. It’s more like a sequel to the very recent Isulong SEOph contest. But this time, it’s not gonna be a ranking contest but a raffle, so everyone gets bigger chances at winning, just as long as you’re in the first 1000 pages of Google for the keyword phrase “Isulong SEOph.”

But wait, if you check out the current number of pages in the Google SERPs, “Isulong SEOph” now shows an astonishing number of 1,270,000 pages! Whoa! How in the world will I squeeze this puny entry of mine in the first 1000 pages?? It looks impossible! :o

But, oh, did I mention that the monthly prize is an 80GB iPod? Yes, it is. Now you tell me if that alone isn’t worth the shot. Hehe. It doesn’t hurt to try, so good luck to my little weblog on its feeble attempt to climb up that very long ladder! :D

I hope I’m doing this right. :left:
